Nashville Outdoor was founded by Houston in 2019. Today, this arm of his family owned and operated companies is an ode to his vision and design oriented mind and love of the outdoors.
Houston grew up loving to play in the dirt and being outside. He always had his construction toys by his side moving dirt and cutting the grass. He had his love of outdoors expanded by being an Eagle Scout going on all the camping, backpacking and scouting adventures. He has a natural born vision for how the man- made oasis can blend with nature creating a seamless transition while sustaining the habitat for the plants and wildlife.
Houston mastered the design and installation of landscaping, wanting to challenge his design skills and craftsmanship, he turned his intentions to the custom pool space. He loves the challenge of construction followed by the rewarding finished product and smiling faces of our clients. The outdoor entertainment spaces we bring to life are works of art and provide spaces for hosting while bringing joy to families who will make memories that last a lifetime.The NOLS Team is driven by integrity, quality and efficiency. H. Houston Harris has over 10 years of experience in the landscaping industry. Earning his degree from Samford University in Accounting and Finance with a Masters in Accounting. He founded his first company in 2014. He has since started three other companies all in the design and construction industry. When he isn't working on the job site, he stays busy hunting, doing land improvement on his personal farm and trying to hit as many concerts in Nashville as he can.

Hallie graduated from the University of Knoxville double majoring in Supply Chain/ Logistics and Marketing. She got her MBA in Business Management & /Leadership from Trevecca. She is in charge of all aspects of the business, running the books, client relations and helping them get final design choices nailed down, scheduling, ordering materials, social media, project management, etc. As a native to Nashville, when Hallie is not working she is spending the weekends on her boat, cheering on the VOLS, line dancing and taking hiking trips across the country.

We called the team at Nashville Outdoor Living Spaces and John and his architect came out to our home and provided us with a design and excellent quote in less than a week. Literally a day after we agreed to move forward (on a Friday!), the crew was at our house bright and early that morning to start the job. We had several initiatives completed, including the install of 600+ linear feet of vinyl fencing with multiple gates, multiple large scale retaining walls, land grading, making our patio stairs safe and up to code, and repairing some brick work on the outside of our home. The most exciting initiative, was the installation of our new backyard hang out spot: a huge, beautiful pavilion, fully equipped with outdoor kitchen and bar area! I don't know how they did it with such quality and care, but the team had everything completed within a two week time frame. We've worked with a lot of contractors since moving into our fixer upper in 2021. John and his team have easily been the best and most pleasant company we've had the opportunity to meet. The entire process; from the initial phone call, on-site visit, design, and quote all the way through the execution has been incredibly seamless. Everything completed reflected an immense attention to detail, in depth consideration of our land and the spaces we had to work with, and overall was just well thought out to ensure we'd be able to achieve our outdoor living space goals. All of this was delivered in combination with great customer service and fair, reasonable prices! Nashville outdoor living space are able to do anything that you can dream up. I wanted a pool, outdoor kitchen, and screened in porch. They did an amazing job!
